Terms of Service

1. The deal

UPick is a free iOS app provided by UPick LLC. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use it — that's the deal.

2. Your account

• You must be 13 or older to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share your login.
• One human, one account. Don't impersonate other people.

3. What you write

• You own your three-word reviews and longform notes.
• You grant UPick a non-exclusive license to display them in the app and (with proper attribution) in marketing materials.
• Don't post slurs, threats, or anything illegal. We block obvious cases automatically; reports get reviewed within 48 hours.

4. Premium purchases

• One-time purchases are exactly that — pay once, no recurring charge.
• Refunds: handled through Apple per their standard policy.
• If we discontinue a feature you paid for, you'll get a credit or refund proportional to what you paid for it.

5. Things that aren't ours

Movie metadata is licensed from TMDB. Streaming availability is from Movie of the Night. Streaming services and their logos belong to their respective owners. We don't host any video content.

6. Liability

UPick is provided as-is. We make no warranty that the app will be perfectly bug-free or that every recommendation will match your taste. If we screw up badly, our maximum liability is what you've paid us in the last 12 months — usually zero.

7. Termination

You can delete your account anytime (Profile → Account → Delete Account). We can suspend accounts that violate these terms; we'll tell you why if we do.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA. Disputes go to Mobile County courts unless mandatory arbitration applies.
